A delegation led by the Slovak Ombudsman held a meeting at the Parliament

A delegation led by the Ombudsman of the Slovak Republic, Róbert Dobrovodský, who is on the visit in the country at the invitation of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, met with Zahid Oruj, Chair of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament.

During the meeting, the guest was informed that Azerbaijan places strong emphasis on the protection of human rights and freedoms, with ongoing and consistent reforms being implemented in this area.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the strong relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and emphasized the importance of regular high-level visits between the two countries.
