Legal Publications of the Ombudsman were Presented at the Twelfth Baku International Book Fair

The Ombudsman Institution exhibited its legal publications at the Twelfth Baku International Book Fair, held at the Baku Expo Center.  

During the event, it was noted that from the very beginning of its activities, the Ombudsman's Office has placed special attention to conducting public legal awareness campaigns and contributing to the development of legal science. Furthermore, the exhibition participants were informed that the Institution prepared books, leaflets, and booklets in various languages; as well as organized educational events to increase the legal literacy among the population.

In addition, the visitors were briefed about the Ombudsman's activities in the field of the protection of human rights and freedoms. It was emphasized that the Commissioner carries out multifaceted activities to ensure the right of access to information, children's rights, the rights of persons with disabilities, the right to equality, non-discrimination, and others.

The event also featured a display of educational print materials prepared at the Ombudsman’s initiative.

It should be noted that this year, the Ombudsman Institution exhibits its 288 publication titles in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, English, Ukrainian, French, and German.
