Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva received the Ambassador of Moldova to Azerbaijan

Sabina Aliyeva, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan received Aleksandr Esaulenko, the Extraordinary and Pleniponteiary Ambassador of Moldova to Azerbaijan. 

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the existing friendly relations between two countries. 

The Ombudsman informed the diplomat about her activities in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms. Emphasizing the international cooperation, Sabina Aliyeva stressed the close relations between the ombuds institutions of both countries at the bilateral level and within the international organizations.   

The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest during the meeting.

In his turn, the Ambassador, A. Esaulenko familiarized himself with the exhibition organized in the Ombudsman Office, presenting the facts about the genocide and ethnic cleansing policy carried out by Armenia and signed a exhibition’s guest book.
