The Ombudsman's regional centers held legal awareness events on the occasion of International Human Rights Day

The North, South, West, and Northwest regional centers of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman held legal awareness events on the occasion of December 10 - International Human Rights Day.

Throughout the events, the attendees were informed about the essence of this international holiday, and the universal human rights norms, and the adoption of the UDHR by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948.

It was noted that the national legislation of Azerbaijan was shaped on the basis of the principles stipulated in this important document and the Chapter III on "Fundamental Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms" of the Constitution, consisting of 48 articles, was about human rights.

Discussions were also held, and questions of the participants were answered.
