The Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva met with Sevil Gulmaliyeva and Nuray Huseynli, winners of the Ombudsman's special scholarship for students of Baku State University (BSU).
At a meeting with students majoring in law and international relations, distinguished by high academic records, Ombudsman noted that opportunities have been created for young people to successfully operate in various fields in our country, speaking about the measures taken to prepare professional personnel who will ensure the sustainable development of Azerbaijan.
Sabina Aliyeva noted that legal education of young people, as well as supporting their initiative and knowledge in this area, is among the priorities of the Ombudsman's activities.
The Ombudsman underlined that it is necessary to be familiarized with the Constitutional Law "On Ombudsman of Azerbaijan," as well as other legislative acts and international treaties ratified by Azerbaijan.
S. Aliyeva also recommended students use legal literature and other publications in the Ombudsman Institution's library.
The Ombudsman emphasized the importance of young people's active participation in scientific research, social projects, and public activities, and wished them success in their future educational and professional activities.
Finally, the students expressed their gratitude for the support provided.
