Legal awareness-raising events continue to be held by the regional centers of the Ombudsperson’s Office

The Ombudsman’s South and West Regional Centers of the Legal held awareness events on ‘Child Labor Rights’ and ‘Prevention of Forced Labor and Human Trafficking’ in Lankaran and on ‘Constitutional Principles and Combating Corruption’ in Ganja.

The attendees were provided detailed information on the provisions of the existing regulatory framework protecting child rights and anti-corruption and on the reforms being implemented at the national level. Furthermore, they were also informed about the activities to protect human rights carried out by the Azerbaijani Ombudsperson, and the ways to apply to the Commissioner, including the services of the ‘916’ Call Center.

Discussions were also held, and participants’ questions were answered.
