The Human Rights Commissioner, Sabina Aliyeva, held her next personal reception for applicants in Baku.
All applicants, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and foreigners, who requested a meeting were received by the Ombudsman in private. The necessary measures were taken to address a number of issues and corresponding state authorities were appealed to remedy other issues, that need to be further investigated in accordance with the applicable laws.
During the reception, citizens were given legal advice; furthermore, it was noted that the applications can be received through the Ombudsman’s “916” inbound Call Center, operating 24 hours a day, and through emails, ordinary mails and social network accounts in order to investigate them efficiently and expediently.
